Service Partners/Enablers

The TIFS Steering Committee is working to define a role for organizations which work to facilitate the forensic community.  These “service enablers” are often governmental or semi-governmental organizations which.
Service Partners/Enablers are governmental or semi-governmental organizations that have a requirement in their core business to improve forensic standards and operations via research, training or other mechanisms.  They support research, standards development, and other activities for forensic practitioners.  They are the organizations that support forensics by helping “join the dots”.

Current TIFS partners include:

  • The National Institute of Justice (NIJ)
  • The National Forensic Science Technology Center (NFSTC)
  • The National Institute of Forensic Science (NIFS)
  • Interpol
